This looks like a model number rather than a serial. I've discovered that the 104 may mean that it is of the 'Plateau' line. I found it for $20 I have many instruments (I teach music) but not a flute, so when I discovered that it could play reasonably well, I decided it was worth the $20. Armstrong Flute Serial Number Lookup Free Long shot - just picked up a used Armstrong flute. Note: From 1974 to present - The prefix number plus 50 will give you the date manufactured. The 682 is probably the last three numbers of the serial number.
